Pricing & Policies

Pricing:

Pricing for our kittens starts at $1800. Price is set based upon each kittens coat color, size, personality, and the pedigree of the parents.

To reserve a kitten a non refundable deposit of $500 is required. This $500 will count towards the final price of your kitten, if your kitten costs $1800 you would owe a remaining $1300 after paying the deposit.

Along with the price of the kitten we charge a separate breeding rights fee of $600 for each kitten. This $600 will be returned to you in full upon providing proof from your veterinarian of your cat being spayed or neutered by 9 months of age. For more information see below.

Waitlist & Deposits:

We are NOT a kitten mill or high volume breeder. We do our breeding in our home with only a few of the highest pedigree and quality male and female cats that are our beloved pets. This means we do not ALWAYS have available kittens. We have several litters each year, most litters having 2-4 kittens each. For this reason if you really are interested in adopting a kitten from us we highly suggest joining our waitlist. Those on our waitlist will be notified when one of our cats has a new litter before it is posted to the site. They will also have the chance to reserve a kitten at that time from those, if any, that are available and not spoken for by those with deposits in place. As you can imagine this means that often all kittens from a litter are reserved before they ever make it onto the webpage. For this reason we want to again suggest that you join our waitlist now if you would like to adopt a kitten.

There is also an option to place a non refundable $250 deposit to reserve your spot for a pick of the next available litter. With this option when a new litter is born you will receive the earliest notification and may at that time take your pick of the litter. Once you have chosen a kitten there will be a second $250 non refundable deposit to complete the general $500 reservation fee we charge to reserve any kitten on our site. The full $500 will be applied to the final cost of your kitten meaning if your kittens price is $1800 you will owe only the remaining balance of $1300.

Kitten Adoption Applications:

ALL persons interested in adopting one of our babies MUST COMPLETE one of our Kitten Adoption Applications to be considered as a potential purrent. Those on the waitlist and those with deposits will also need to complete this application as well at the time they select their kitten, although you are welcome and encouraged to complete it any time before then. It is very important to us that we only send our kittens to good, healthy, & safe homes and this application helps us to determine this is the case. This also helps us to suggest kittens specifically for your family based on the kittens unique personality traits. We always hope to make the perfect match!

Purchasing a kitten is a BIG decision and should not be taken lightly. It is a serious commitment to the health and well-being of this special animal for the next 15-20 years. By purchasing one of our kittens you are agreeing to provide it with proper health care, vaccinations, and regular checkups as well as a safe and healthy home to thrive in. Teacup and toy cats are a bit more fragile than a standard cat given their smaller size. Their skeletons are more delicate and they can be injured by improper handling or too rough play.

Families with Small Children:

If you have small children you will need to supervise their interactions with the new kitten particularly when the kitten first comes home and is most vulnerable.(this generally applies to children aged 7 and under though you know your child best so will need to base this on your child’s likely behavior and familiarity with animals and not only the age.) You should continue supervising their interactions until you are fully confident and comfortable that your child will handle the kitten properly and both will be safe. In our house we keep an eye on our youngest child (3) until the cat has reached its full grown size. You will find some miniature cat breeders that will not adopt a cat to a home with young children for fear of the cat being seriously injured accidentally by an excited toddler and while their fears are not totally unfounded we also understand that with the right supervision and guidance having both a tiny cat and a tiny kiddo can be a wonderful and enjoyable experience for all involved, including the cat. Achieving this does take a bit of commitment from mom and dad but is absolutely worth the extra effort.

IMPORTANT Information and Expectations for our Kittens:

Our kittens are kept on average until 12-14 weeks of age. The exact time we release a kitten to its forever home is based solely on how that kitten is eating, growing, and maturing. Some kittens take a bit longer to be ready to fly solo, and some take less time. It is entirely our discretion as to when we feel a kitten is ready to move on to its forever home. Again we want to send home a healthy, thriving, confident, and well adjusted kitten that is ready to be a loving part of your family and achieving this takes a bit of time and every kitten is different and moves at its own pace.

We begin at a very young age with getting each kitten used to being groomed. Kittens receive baths and nail trims regularly to familiarize them with both as early as possible. Starting around 3 and a half to 4 weeks of age we also spend some time every day brushing each kitten. It is very important you continue this grooming process to keep your cat accustomed to being groomed. Our cats are almost all long hair cats and so will need to be brushed at the very least a few times a week to avoid matting. Please see our Kitty Care page for advice and instruction regarding this and many other aspects of caring for your new special kitten.

Your kitten will be familiar with and are usually great with the litter box. We keep each litter box very CLEAN. Cats are clean animals by nature and do not like a dirty litter box. They will refuse to use a box that is full or smelly and you will have frustrating accidents all around the house, often done on a bed or other common piece of furniture where they are sure you will notice as a way of communicating with you that there’s a problem. You will NEED to SCOOP YOUR LITTER BOX EVERY DAY and replace dirty litter frequently. For more in depth advice and instruction as well as a few handy tips on litter box training and care please see our Kitty Care page.

It is also VERY IMPORTANT that your teacup cat be kept INDOORS ONLY. These miniature babies are not suited for life outdoors in any circumstance. Their small size makes them unable to stay warm outside and also makes them delicious looking snacks to most other animals. Neighborhood birds and dogs alone are deadly dangerous not to mention the many other things encountered outside. These precious sweet babies are also raised to be affectionate and not afraid of humans and there is a real threat of your adorable baby being stolen and it will not hesitate to run right up to the thief especially if being led on. It happens with these tiny irresistible fluffs more than you’d think. Our kittens are not to be let outside for any length of time ever. Taking your kitten out for a controlled adventure in a cat backpack or carrier can be accomplished if done properly to ensure the comfort, health, and wellbeing of the animal. You will find some tips for adventuring in the out with your new friend safely on our Kitty Care page.

When you purchase a kitten from us you are agreeing to provide that kitten with a clean, safe, and humane indoor environment. This includes access to appropriate food and fresh water at all times. Our kittens are not to be kept in cages or otherwise neglected. We provide kittens to be an important and loved part of your family, please do not reach out unless you have good intentions for our babies. These affectionate, outgoing, precious kitties deserve wonderful lives full of love and that is our constant goal when choosing the right homes for each one.
